1. TechnipFMC won the major EPCI contract of Total Brazil Oilfield

TechnipFMC, an oil and gas service provider, has obtained a contract from Total Energy for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) of the Lapa North East oil field located in the sub salt Santos basin off the coast of Brazil.

The company did not disclose the value of the transaction, but described it as “significant”, which means the contract value is between 75 million and 250 million dollars.

Lapa Oilfield was put into production in December 2016, with a daily output of 100000 barrels through Cidade de Caraguatatuba FPSO. In January 2018, Total purchased 35% of the shares of the oilfield from Petrobras and obtained the operation right of the oilfield.

 

2. India postpones the final decision of stainless steel seamless steel pipe to China

On September 9, 2022, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued an announcement and received an office memorandum on September 8, 2022 from the Ministry of Finance approving the extension of the issuance of the final judgment on stainless steel seamless steel pipes with a diameter of 6 inches or less originating in or imported from China (involving products under Indian customs code 7304), which was extended to September 24, 2022. 3. Crestwood and Antero entered into a US $205 million deal to divest Marcellus assets

On September 12, Crestwood Equity Partners LP agreed to sell its Marcellus assets to Antero Midstream Corp. at a cash price of $205 million, which was another time that the Houston based company sold non core assets.

In the past 18 months, Crestwood has strategically strengthened its asset portfolio through a series of A&D transactions, establishing a competitive scale in Williston, Delaware and Power River basins. The strategy includes the acquisition of Oasis Midstream Partners, Sendero Midstream and Crestwood Permian Basin Holdings LLC (CPJV).

 

4. The International Natural Gas Technology Exhibition (GASTECH2022) was held in Milan, Italy last week

From September 5 to September 8, 2022, the International Gas Conference and Exhibition (Gastech) was successfully held in Fiera Milano, Milan International Exhibition Center, Italy. Hosted by British DMG, Gastech is one of the three major exhibitions in the field of natural gas in the world. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the exhibition, attracting world-renowned energy industry chain enterprises, liquefied gas carrier construction enterprises, relevant equipment manufacturers and major ship classification societies to participate
